Sweeten Hall
Located in the vibrant city of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Sweeten Hall resides on the site of the first schoolhouse within the Cucamonga township. The school served the community of ranchers and farmers for 30 years before the original building was demolished. A new school was constructed circa 1915, standing today as Sweeten Hall. The building experienced multiple lives throughout the years, operating as a wagon repair shop, a bakery, a billiards room, a bank, a post office, etc… In the late 1960s, Mr. Sweeten purchased the building from the school district, transforming it into a community center. Given the building’s historical impact, the city of Rancho Cucamonga designated Sweeten Hall as a historical landmark. Today, Sweeten Hall serves as a banquet hall and wedding venue, open to the community and more
