Spring Break Coding Workshops for Kids (Grades 3-8)

Get to code by creating your own jumping game (for younger children) or a webpage (for bigger children)!

Join this five-day intensive coding workshop! Invite your friends and family to play your game or view your web pages by the end of the workshop. Each day, the instruction contents are new.

Students will be grouped according to their interests and grades. Please make sure to indicate your grades and which group you'd go for when registering. You will choose one from the two:

Coding Workshops (Web Page Design) Grades 3-8

Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Mar 14 - Mar 18, both inclusive, EDT

Days: Five

Ideal for: "serious" learners seeking a new skill, maybe bigger kids

Delivery: At the end of the workshops, the learners are expected to create a webpage using relevant coding languages.

Coding Workshops (Scratch Games) Grades 3-8

Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Mar 14 - Mar 17, both inclusive, EDT

Days: Four

Ideal for: Scratch-game lovers, maybe younger kids

Delivery: At the end of the workshops, the learners are expected to be able to create their own simple Scratch games, like jumping games and catching.

All the programs are interactive live sessions, instructed in English. Each day, we learn and practice new stuff. Once again, all BrookEdge Academy quality educational programs are for free.
