On January 27, 2022, Community Mission of Hope and Rancho Damacitas entered into partnership officially merging the two Temecula entities aligned in mission. This collaboration will streamline business operations to create one highly efficient organization designed to assist as many individuals and families as possible struggling with homelessness and food insecurity, ushering them onto the road of self-sufficiency.

Community Mission of Hope (CMOH) began as a partnership with the Orange County Rescue Mission to resolve food insecurity during the recession in 2009. Starting as a feeding ministry in the parking lot of Rancho Community Church it became clear that our clients needed more than just food and our services expanded to include case management. In 2013 we branched out on our own creating the CMOH food distribution and housing resource center where we distribute over 1 million pounds of food each year and have been able to connect over 100 individuals with permanent housing. In 2021 we launched our Hope Family Housing program to provide affordable housing in an environment of independent living with program-driven supportive services leading our residents towards self-sufficiency.
