The Harley School Commons Series: "Ending Parkinson's Disease"

For the first Commons Series event of the 2020-2021 school year, The Harley School is welcoming Ray Dorsey to discuss the rise of Parkinson's Disease and how the Parkinson’s community could mirror the activism of the HIV community and come together to end the disease.

Ray Dorsey is the David M. Levy Professor of Neurology at the University of Rochester, where he directs the Center for Health + Technology. For the past decade, he has pioneered technology to care for individuals with and measure the features of Parkinson disease. His research has been published in the leading neurology, medical, and economic journals and been featured on NPR and in The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.
Parkinson’s disease is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. Learn about this rise and how the Parkinson’s community could mirror the activism of the HIV community and come together to end the disease.
