Mardi Gras returns to Riverside with Castle Park’s unique take on New Orleans’ favorite festival.
From King Duke’s Mardi Gras Kids Cavalcade parade through the park to a special Flavors of Mardi Gras tasting and the all-new Mardi Gras Lounge, we’ve got family fun that really is fun for the whole family!

Flavors of Mardi Gras
Savor the flavors of Mardi Gras with our all new tasting program. Enjoy sample sizes of New Orleans’ favorites including shrimp po’ boy sandwiches, hush puppies, King Duke funnel cakes, shrimp and sausage gumbo, beignets, and bananas Foster funnel cakes. Purchase a tasting card for either three or seven samples!
King Duke's Cavalcade
Join Duke the Dragon for a Mardi Gras style parade through Castle Park, complete with kid-sized floats and beads. Then, hop in a conga line with Duke after the parade.
Mardi Gras Lounge
Drop by Party Palace to experience the all-new Mardi Gras Lounge. View the Cavalcade floats up close and for the last two hours of each day, enjoy the music that’s made New Orleans famous.
